Jodhpur, Blue City 藍色之城

Jodhpur is a popular tourist destination, featuring many palaces, forts and temples, set in the stark landscape of the Thar desert. The city is known as the "Sun City" for the bright, sunny weather it enjoys all year. It is also referred to as the "Blue City" due to the vivid blue-painted houses around the Mehrangarh Fort. 前往有“藍色城市”之稱的鳩得普。每當日落時分，站在鳩得普堡上俯瞰老城區，就會看到一片靛藍色的民居，猶如童話故事裡的村莊。

The Jaswant Thada monument built in 1899, in its entirety, out of intricately carved sheets of marble. These stones are extremely thin and polished so that they emit a warm glow when the sun's rays dance across their surface. 午餐後參觀由白色大理石砌造而成的賈斯旺撒德紀念館。



Mehrangarh Fort built in 1459 in Jodhpur is one of the largest forts in India. The fort is situated 400 feet above the city and is enclosed by imposing thick walls. Inside its boundaries there are several palaces known for their intricate carvings and expansive courtyards. Mehrangarh Fort is also a favorite spot for Bollywood and Hollywood movies. 續往參觀建立在400公尺高巨岩上的鳩得普堡，堡內皇宮建築匠工雕造精美全部由質地堅硬的砂岩雕鑿而成。
